Triad of NC GFAFEvent Webcast ~ Recommended Essential Oils, Traveling with Food Allergies, Honey Instead of Sugar & Baking Tips

In light the month of May being Celiac Disease Awareness month, we want to put some staggering statistics into reality for our next GFAFEvent June 2 at Winston-Salem Fairgrounds Home & Garden Building from 10-3. The Triad of NC is comprised of Winston-Salem, Greensboro, and High Point as well as their neighboring towns. There are over 600,000 people in the area which translates into over 54,000 people with food allergies/sensitivities or celiac disease. Just let that sink in for a second...

About 1 in 100 people — about 1 percent — have celiac disease. About .4 percent of people have a doctor-diagnosed wheat allergy Put those statistics into play in even the smallest town and you will be amazed at how many people in your community are affected. This is why we work hard on making events a place where people can feel safe and can learn from experts on how they can navigate their lives easier. It is why we keep these webcasts here on the blog as a free resource.

Please join us right here for the next webcast to be held on May 22 at 7:00 pm for an interview with our Triad speakers:

Charlotte GFAFEvent Webcast ~ Keto & Paleo Connection, Link Between Autoimmunity & Food Sensitivities, Traveling, & Baking Tips

Over a decade of Gluten & Allergen Free Wellness Events have taken place and brought us back to the event in Charlotte NC on March 24. We decided to change up the venue this year and take it out of a hotel type setting and make it more of a festival by partnering with local kombucha and brewing company, Lenny Boy.

Charlotte is home base for us, as I have written before, and holds a super special place in our hearts. The amount of support that the celiac and food allergy community has held for the event here has always made it a wonderful affair that helps so many. The webcast for the Charlotte Gluten & Allergen Free Wellness Event features speakers who are tackling current topics within our communities. Therefore, we hope you will join us for another wonderfully informative webcast on March 15.
